Traditional Wedding - $1400.00USD
Barefoot on the beach? A private deck overlooking the ocean? Walking through lush rainforest? The choice is yours. We'll decorate your locale with gorgeous flowers and palm leaves, and provide colorful Fijian wedding leis, or saluslaus and matching garland for her. Then, imagine four warriors dressed in traditional costume accompanying you to the site. The lali drum announces your arrival and the choir welcomes you with a hymn. After the ceremony, conducted by a local minister, you'll toast with champagne. From there, the Namale Band will take over, setting the stage for the meke — the traditional Fijian dance ceremony, a romantic dinner for two or wedding party, and close with a flourish of ultimate love and joy!

Namale is the idyllic setting for a wedding, and an opportunity to extend our hospitality by decorating the wedding site with traditional woven palm leaves and colorful flowers. The local Fijian will make salusalus and a matching head garland for the beloved couple, the lali will announce the arrival, and the Fijian choir will welcome you with a hymn. Immediately following the ceremony, we will cork a bottle of fine champagne, followed by a romantic dinner under the stars..

The Photo Package - $780 + VAT
This includes approximately 150+ digital still photos, color corrected and adjusted and/or cropped, color and/or black and white photos delivered on CD media. Two copies of the CD are included.

The DVD Package - $900 + VAT
Digital recording of the following will be included: groom arriving, bride arriving, the wedding ceremony, reception, cake cutting, beach walks, etc., along with shots of the resort and/or wedding venue. The DVDs are artistically edited and delivered on DVD with interactive menu selections. Also included is the PAL/NTSC DVD conversion. Two copies of the DVD are included.

The Select Package - $1440 + VAT
This package includes both of the above-mentioned packages as well as a Wedding Slideshow DVD of some of the highlights of the day set to the music of your choice or we will select something appropriate. Two copies of the digital stills and of the DVD are included.

The A4 Photo Book Package - $1330 + VAT
This package includes the ‘The Photo Package’ & an A4 30 page Photo Book. The hard cover Photo Book superbly printed in Japan and delivered in a presentable plastic case directly to the bridal couple.

Other Information:

Legality – All ceremonies are legally binding and recognized per USA requirements.
Documents – Passports; Original or Certified copies of Birth Certificate; letters of Parental Consent if under 21; Decrees of Dissolution by the Registrar General, local or State Government, if divorced, or copy of Death Certificate if Spouse has died. This is obtainable from their local Registrar or District Office.
The Registry office is open Monday - Friday from 9.00am – 3.00pm. Your marriage license must be obtained before the ceremony, so keep this in mind if arriving on a weekend. You will need to wait until the Monday morning to get your license. Guests need to register in the province they will marry in, so they cannot register in Nadi and get married in Savusavu. The District office can only marry people if the license was issued at the Savusavu office.
Ceremony Times and Location: You will meet with the Wedding Coordinator after you have checked into your Bure. She and her staff will show you different locations on the property and work with you on all aspects of your special day. Ceremonies are generally held at sunset, unless a different time is requested. Weddings can take place at the location of your choosing.
Officiating officer performing the ceremony: All ministers in Fiji belong to a certain church. There are no non-denominational ministers. While we will try to honor requests for a specific type of minister, who is available for the date requested will be the primary factor. Catholic Weddings are held at the nearest Catholic Church. There are no weddings on Sundays.
Holidays: Ceremonies cannot be held on a public holiday. Fiji has many, so please be sure to check your requested date with our Reservations Office.
Wedding certificate: The certificate only shows two names – that of the bride and groom before they get married. It shows Miss XX married Mr. ZZ. You choose what name you want afterward.
Choir: It is the Methodist church choir and they sing religious Fijian hymns. The Fijians are well known for their melodic voices and songs in harmony. Their very special songs will add a unique character and a “island atmosphere” to your wedding ceremony.
Meals for Visiting Guests not staying at Namale: While we do not normally allow outside people to use the resort facilities, people may come on the property as visitors of our guests with management approval. The Registration Desk needs to be informed of this and the drinks and meals will be charged accordingly.
Room Safe: Every Bure has a “strong box” and we also have a safe in the Front Office.
Dry Cleaners & Hair Salons: There are no dry cleaners or Hair Salons in Savusavu. Main island availability is limited.
